We are a local firm of Solicitors based in Matlock, Derbyshire.
We are proud members of the Law Society Quality Conveyancing Scheme
along with members of
the Fusion Legal Network.
We believe that legal advice should be accessible to all and pride ourselves on providing a professional, friendly but informal approach.
An appointment is not always necessary, therefore if you do have a legal query please feel free to pop into the office where one of our experienced team will be able to assist you.
Our aim is to provide a tailor made service, which is as individual as you are based around your needs and
expectations.
All of our team members live locally and play an active part of the local community.
Who We Are
Chubb & Co was formed by Nigel Chubb in 2001.
Nigel specialised in services for the business community.
Nigel trained in Derbyshire and spent most of his working life as a Solicitor in practice in the Derbyshire area.
With his background in Company Law, Nigel created a company Chubblaw Limited and traded as Chubb & Co.
In 2006 Nigel decided to concentrate on corporate work and Paul Dalton formed Dalton Law Limited and this company purchased the business of Chubb & Co from Chubblaw Limited and became a separate trading company.
It is this company that is run by Paul Dalton and assisted by Donna Masters.

Paul DaltonList Item 1
I am the owner and founder of Dalton Law Limited and have been practising as a Solicitor for over 35 years.
I live in Great Longstone and when I am not in the office I am a member of Matlock Cycling Club.
I have ridden at the World Masters Cyclocross championships three times and I compete at National level in Cyclocross and Mountain Bike racing. I hold a private pilots license

Donna MastersList Item 2
I am a Director of Dalton Law Limited and am a qualified conveyancer specialising in residential property.
I have been with Chubb & Co since 2001 and have lived and worked in Matlock all of my life.
When I am not in the office I enjoy walking in the Peak District and spending time with my family.
